Quick Start

Once Variations is installed use these quick steps to get up and running fast.

Select one or multiple comps in the project panel

Select the comp(s) you wan to create variants of.

Set the name for the variant(s)

You can either set an exact name or make a variation of the original name by using options; find & replace, add text before & add text after.

Set the location for the variant(s)

You can either set the absolute folder path to create or create a relative path based off of the original comp's location.

Set the FPS of the variant(s)

Choose whether to set a new frame rate for the variant.

Set the duration of the variant(s)

Choose whether or not to change the duration of the variant. This can either be an exact duration, or an addition / subtraction of the original comp's duration.

Set the dimensions of the variant(s)

Choose whether or not to change the dimensions of the variant. This can either be exact dimensions, or an addition / subtraction of the original comp's dimensions.

Set whether to duplicate and modify precomps as well.

Choose whther or not to duplicate and relink any precomps contained within the original comp. Precomps can have the above FPS, Duration and Dimension changes applied to them as well.
