Quick Start

Once TikTokText is installed use these quick steps to get up and running fast.

Select a style within TikTokText.

There are currently 6 styles to choose from:

Stroked Text, Boxed Text, Color Accent, Box Accent, Gentle Glow & Drop-Depth.

Click the Create button.

This generates a text layer and shape layer on your timeline. Layer's are generated at the playhead and above any selected layers.

Adjust style as desired

Unlike previous versions of TikTokText, v3.2 doesn't specify any fonts and colours, allowing you to customise these to suit your needs. Several styles come with expression controllers to easily change the stroke/glow colour or sliders to control which word is highlighted.

When adjusting size of any generated text, it is better to use the layer's transform: scale property as opposed to the Character font size. This ensures that the text scales up and down accurately allowing any boxes/strokes/glows to scale fluidly.
