Once Boxer is installed use these quick steps to get up and running fast.

Select text layer
Select one or multiple text layers within your comp.

Click a Boxer quick start button
Choose one of Boxer's five quick starting points.

Use pseudo-effect to adjust properties
Boxer will generate a shape layer, pair it to your text layer and add the Boxer pseudo-effect.
Use the pseudo-effect to adjust the box' sizing, corners and trim options.

Adjust ususal shape layer options
All the usual shape options are still available on the shape layer, fill color, stroke color, gradient, stroke effects, path modifiers and many more.
