# Installation

Alternatively you can install it manually by downloading the Boxer.zxp file and using an ZXP installer, like the one available on aescripts + aeplugins; <https://aescripts.com/learn/zxp-installer/>\

Once installed, restart After Effects and Boxer will be available within Window > Extensions > Boxer.

NOTE: Due to restrictions with After Effects .ffx presets; Boxer is only compatible with Ae23 or newer.
